Data controller
The data controller responsible for personal data described in this policy is Briefcue, a service operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Hangzhou, China. For privacy questions, data subject requests, or to reach a data protection contact, write to support@briefcue.com.
What we collect
Briefcue stores coach account data, screener configuration, prospect data submitted through a screener, and generated decision briefs. Prospect data may include name, email, business context, answers, score, tier, and generated brief fields. We also collect limited technical data, such as hashed IP addresses, to prevent abuse and rate-limit submissions.
How we use data
We use prospect data to score fit, generate the coach-facing brief, enforce Free and Pro limits, provide account usage summaries, and send operational emails requested by the coach workflow.
Retention
We retain screener and submission records while the coach account is active or as needed for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, and operational purposes. A coach may request deletion of their account data by contacting Briefcue support at support@briefcue.com.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request rectification of inaccurate data, request erasure of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request data portability (a copy of your data in a portable format). Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@briefcue.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
Briefcue uses strictly necessary cookies to keep coaches signed in and to operate the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Processors
Briefcue uses service providers for hosting, authentication, email, payments, spam protection, database storage, and AI-based scoring of prospect answers. These processors only receive the data needed for their part of the service.
Sub-processors
Briefcue currently relies on the following sub-processors, each receiving only the data needed for its purpose: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (transactional email), Creem (payments and subscription billing), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot and abuse protection), and DeepSeek (AI inference for scoring prospect answers).
International transfers
Your personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our sub-processors operate, which may be outside the country where you are located. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on the data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses offered by our sub-processors to protect it.
